What are GREEN ENERGY GRANTS?

The UK Government’s Energy Company Obligation is an energy efficiency programme that addresses fuel poverty and encourages the reduction of carbon emissions.

The current GREEN ENERGY GRANT runs until 2026 and is funded by the largest UK Energy Companies. It is part of a broader eco scheme aimed at improving energy efficiency in homes. It provides fully funded grants to improve the efficiency of domestic properties.

The scheme helps create an energy efficient home by providing grants for various improvements.

The grants cover gas heating systems, gas boiler upgrades, air source heat pumps, insulation upgrades, heating improvements, energy saving upgrades and other insulation measures such as loft, cavity wall, room in roof and internal wall insulation.
