Heating grants and measures provide vital support for homeowners looking to upgrade their heating systems and improve energy efficiency. Through initiatives like the GREEN ENERGY GRANT, households can access funding to replace outdated heating systems and introduce modern, energy-efficient solutions. These grants help to reduce energy bills, lower carbon emissions, and create a more comfortable living environment, making energy efficiency upgrades more affordable for eligible homeowners.
The GREEN ENERGY GRANT takes a holistic approach by addressing both heating measures and insulation upgrades, ensuring your home is optimised for energy efficiency. Proper insulation ensures that heat generated by your upgraded heating system is retained, reducing the need for constant heating and lowering energy consumption even further. Accredited surveyors will assess your property to recommend the most suitable combination of heating and insulation measures, tailored to your specific needs.

Is your home currently being heated by any of the following?
Gas fire / Back boiler
Non condensing gas boiler
Old Electric storage heaters
(but you have a gas connection established at the property prior to 31st March 2020)
Warm air system
If this is the case you may be eligible for an upgrade to a new combi condensing gas boiler and / or central heating system including pipe work, radiators and smart controls. Explore boiler grants.
Air source heat pumps are an efficient way of generating your own renewable heat for your property. They do not require a gas connection therefore protecting you from the rising costs incurred with having a gas central heating system.
If your property is currently being heated by Oil, LPG or solid fuel and does not have a gas connection you may be eligible for an upgrade to an Air Source Heat Pump.
*Please not that this is subject to the energy efficiency of the property.
